As usual Adobe has released a seamless product version that is easy to use.

Using Adobe Acrobat for the past 10 years, this new release has all the bells and whistles expected from Adobe. It helps shrink down files, so that emailing pdf's is possible at a fraction of their original size.

Crashes frequenty, takes a long time to open, compression is no better than version 6.

I have been a long-time Acrobat user and thought it would be good to upgrade. After all, v.6 was such a big improvement over v.5, maybe v.8 would be better on my new Core2Duo, right? Wrong!! Adobe seems to have botched it, again, and so we will have to wait for the .1 update or, more likely, .2, .3, .4, and .5 just like in 2002. I had much better results with FoxIt.
